The CRO oversees the traditional responsibilities of the VP of Sales and the Chief Marketing Officer and is a member of the senior team overseeing go-to-market strategy and execution.  The CRO is responsible for aligning company resources, defining differentiated go-to-market strategies and delivering on the company’s revenue performance goals.

Chief Revenue Officer success I measured by revenue performance and he/she is responsible for customer growth, customer retention and new customer acquisition. 

  • Coordinate and align marketing, sales and customer success teams and ensure that processes deliver an effective end to end customer and buyer experience
  • Maximize revenue performance through
    • Penetration of selected segments, markets and accounts
    • Maximize the deal value through end to end funnel generation and management
    • Convert sales in the pipeline and deliver on revenue objectives
  • Work closely with colleagues as a member of the Sr. Management team
  • Define and maintain company revenue strategy, systems and programs
  • Set top-down metrics and goals to achieve optimal revenue growth
  • Articulate solutions and value differentiators
  • Manage a portfolio of programs to attract, engage and convert prospective customers
  • Implement a predictable, repeatable and scalable sales and marketing process
  • Attract, hire, train and retain top sales, marketing and customer success teams
  • Oversee campaign design and execution to maximize sales conversions
  • Work effectively with the delivery and product teams to ensure execution of results and maximize customer retention
  • Over see the management of sales teams activities and competencies to sell products and services and manage relationships, meeting and exceeding targets


  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • B. S. in Economics, Finance, Marketing, or other quantifiable focused major; MBA is a plus
  • 5+ years working in Sales and Marketing with a focus on portfolio management
  • Experience within the tech sector; both tech and finance is a plus
  • Proven ability to grow product revenue year over year
