To further our momentum, AnswerDash, a venture-backed Seattle startup, is seeking a Solution/Sales Engineer to present our solution offering and associated technical infrastructure to our customers to evoke confidence in the company’s technology and remove all technical objections during the sales cycle. To accomplish this, we are looking for a Solution/Sales Engineer with a strong desire to leverage their technical and sales skills, develop a technical sales strategy, and create effective demonstrations to address the clients requirements. If you are passionate about working and selling in early-stage companies and seeking a high-paced, energetic, and collaborative environment where you can make an immediate impact, AnswerDash is the place for you.

Key Responsibilities

·        Working with sales, understand customers requirements and establish AnswerDash as the best solution to meet client needs.

·        Develop and present customized presentations and demonstrations.

·        Articulate the technology infrastructure, product functionality, and integration capabilities of the AnswerDash solution, including all hardware, software, networking and security stack.

·        Respond effectively to RFPs.

·        Drive change – bring to the engineering team input and feedback from the field to help increase customer success and conversion as well as improve sales strategies and product possibilities.

Who you are…

·        5-10 years experience as a technical solution/sales engineer for a SaaS company or similar technology.

·        Strong technical sales presentation skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.

·        Knowledge and understanding of the SaaS business model, related architecture and web technologies.

·        Previous experience within customer support, customer service and/or customer success is preferred.

·        High moral standards- will always do the right and ethical thing for the customers and the company.

·        Great attitude- coachable and open to constructive criticism (high buy-in, high results).

·        A startup person. Small companies are fast, fun, and full of intelligent people. You must also work well under high-pressure and thrive in an environment requiring quick learners who are comfortable with risk and desire to grow.

·        Team player who is motivated by others’ success in addition to your own.
