The Vice President of Store Systems is responsible for one of the largest and most complex sales businesses in the world. This individual leads multiple teams that are responsible for the development of zulily web applications and site features. This is a high profile position that will have exposure across multiple teams and businesses across the zulily organization.

 

  • Develop, communicate, and manage the strategy and delivery of the full product lifecycle for our Store technology team
  • Oversee the development and delivery of large scale initiatives which include new products, significant refactoring, and new technology stacks adoption 
  • Hire and develop great technology professionals including roles in engineering, product management and leadership
  • Strengthen relationships across our company by engaging business leaders and end user customers, to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives
  • Manage multiple complex projects and programs which are broad in scope, interdependent, high risk, high impact and with various implementation time frames that impact the greater zulily organization
  • Fosters an environment that supports the drive for continuous improvement (productivity and quality) by initiating change and creating an environment that is conducive to change

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15+ years experience at a senior level position for a well-known large technology organization which includes both product development and software engineering
  • 10+ years managing people ranging from individual contributors to senior management roles
  • Strong experience in an open source technology environment (must be well versed in open sourced arena)
  • Experience leading the development of a technology products throughout the full product lifecycle
  • Proven track record of building high-performance teams
  • Leading organizational development exercises focused on an agile delivery model and significant scale
  • Proven history of working closely with business partners to successfully drive overall company objectives
  • Demonstrates exceptional relationship building skills with strong ability to influence others
  • Demonstrates proven leadership of large end user projects and programs
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or related field required. MBA preferred.
